Llanddulas Limestone Jetty
Llanddulas Limestone Jetty

The beach next to this abandoned industrial jetty at Llanddulas in north Wales was full of these beautiful starfish.

The jetty dates from the 1940s and was formerly used for transporting crushed limestone from the local quarries out to waiting ships.

Update on this jetty: On the 4th September 2011 I was driving past the jetty on the main road which runs parallel to the beach and the jetty was in the process of being demolished.

Location: Llanddulas, North Wales
