This lone tree at Buttermere in the Lake District is a real beauty.
In March 2014 when I took this photo the lake was very full of water - the tree is normally on the edge of the shore but here it was quite a way out into the lake.
As you can see from the photo, it was extremely windy (approx 50mph) and the top of the tree was really moving about, blurring the branches on this long-exposure photo. The main problem I faced was keeping the tripod still during the 15 second exposure time.
