Southport Beach in Summer

No it's not the Gobi desert....this is what Southport Beach in NW England looks like in the summer when the tide is out. (the tide hardly ever comes in for that matter :-)

The dots that you can see are all the local people and tourists enjoying the weekend summer sunshine which has been a rare event over the last few years.
