Frozen Footsteps

This is a photo I took on a bitterly cold winter's morning shortly after dawn in the so-called 'golden hour' for photography.

Despite the warmth of the colours it was around -5 degrees centigrade and there was a heavy frost on the beach with the footsteps in the sand from the day before frozen into place.
