Sunset in the Woods

This is a photo from the woods near our house on the edge of the Peak District. They are carpeted with bluebells in late April.

It was sunset and I walked through to the western edge of the woods until I could get the rays of the dying sun in the shot.

All I could hear whilst sitting there in amongst the flowers, surrounded by blue, green and gold, was the bird song and the occasional click of the shutter on my camera.
