Built between 1059 and 1158 the Battistero di San Giovanni is one of the oldest buildings in Florence.

This was photographed before 5am to avoid the hordes of tourists and it was a surreal yet calm and very peaceful experience to be able to walk around Florence city centre completely empty of other people.
